Triple treat for Meghana on D-Day

It is celebration time for Meghana Raj, with the actress getting engaged to Chiranjeevi Sarja on October 22. But the party doesn’t stop there. The launch of two films that she has signed are also scheduled for the same day.

The actress tells CE that on the professional front, she is happy to have bagged two good projects. Both happen to kick start shooting on the same day, she says. “In Iruvudellava Bittu, I work with Kanta Kannali, who has previously directed Jalsa. He has come up with a plotline about a corporate girl, who encounters with toy makers. I took it up as it connects with every girl of this generation," says Meghana, adding that though the film starts from October 22, she will only join the crew from November first week.

Her other project is with Mussanje Mahesh, who has plans to cast four heroines who come from film families. “I was the first choice,” says Meghana, and adds, “I am happy to be having the best of both professional and personal worlds.”
