Sreenivasan and Jerry Amaldev join hands

Actor Sreenivasan and composer Jerry Amaldev have come together for a new Malayalam album titled Raave Nilaave.  

The album features five tracks composed by Jerry Amaldev to the lyrics of Santhosh Varma. The video of the first song from the album, also titled Raave Nilave has been released. It features Sreenivasan, which marks his first ever appearance in a music video. 

Directed by Ganesh Raj, the music video shows the four phases of an artist's life from being a music student to becoming a music director. Apart from the central character's 25 year old phase, Sreenivasan has also portrayed the stages of 45, 60 and 75 years old. The often inevitable loneliness that comes with age, family and the changes that their love undergoes with time are some of the main themes of the video.  

The tracks in the album are rendered by Teeja Pribu John, KK Nishad, Ramesh Murali and Rakesh Brahmanandan.
