Rakshit Shetty, who is busy with his production ventures, for which he is working with Pushkar, is spending equal time on the script of his film Avane Sriman Narayana. This film marks the directorial debut of Sachin.

The actor-producer-director is nearly done with the script and is now working on when the project can go on floors, characters, locations, investment and release date. Avane Sriman Narayana is set to be a big-budget film, with the current estimate at Rs 10 crore. The project will be a joint venture and there will be no limit on the budget, and the makers say that they are even ready to invest double the estimate because they expect a business of Rs 75 crore from it.

The actor, at the launch of Senna Hegde’s project on Thursday, shared a few details about Avane Sriman Narayana. Rakshit, who is currently detailing the characters in the film, is even trying out different hair styles and  plans to go on floors with the project along with Sachin by end of 2017. They are hoping to release it by December 2018.

Rakshit will be seen a rugged, intelligent and gimmicky police officer in this fictional story set in the 80s, when streets were not lit with electric lights, but with lanterns and oil lamps. A fictional village called Amaravathi will be created for this and most of the film will be shot in sets and in various locations in North Karnataka.

Shanvi Srivastava will play the female lead and Achyuth Rao will be seen in an important role. Interestingly, Avane Sriman Narayana will bring together 100 artistes and auditions for this massive cast will start soon.
