The actress who is playing the lead in the Shivarajkumar-starrer Tagaru is back from a song shoot in Goa where she got to wear specially designed costumes by a Russian designer

Actress Manvitha Harish, who bagged a big opportunity to work with director Suri for Shivarajkumar-starrer Tagaru, is playing a unique character in the film. With Tagaru, the actress has also experimented with her looks.

Manvitha back from Goa, after shooting for a song, told CE that she was more excited about shooting on the beach and the colourful costumes, which she wore for a particular track. The costumes were specially designed by  Erica, a  63-year-old Russian woman. “It is a dance number, which is more like trance music, composed by Charan Raj. It has free-style and hip hop moves,” she says.

But what got the actress high on the beaches were the costumes. Elated, Manvitha says, “We initially decided to shop in Goa, to suit the theme. But then we bumped into Erica, whose clothes and accessories, are quite rare.”

Speaking about the Russian designer, the actress says, “Erica, works for only 3 months and for the rest of the year, she travels to different places of the world where she collects various artifacts, materials and jewellery and tries to use it in her designs here. She claims to be a global citizen. The gorgeous old lady came across as a very interesting person,” Manvitha adds.

The actress is now looking forward to the Tagaru teaser launch tomorrow.
