Sagar Chandra, Trinadha Rao in race for Ram

Director Sagar Chandra, known for churning out films with thought-provoking subjects, is set to shed his image for his next. Word has it that Sagar is planning to direct a love story with Ram, which will be produced by a popular production house.

“Sagar pitched a story to Ram. While the actor liked the script immensely, he wanted some changes incorporated. Sagar is reworking on the script and will approach Ram later this week for another narrative session,” reveals a source. Touted to be a rom-com, the film is expected to take off at the fag end of this year.

It is learnt that Ram is also in talks with director Trinadha Rao Nakkina for a commercial entertainer. “Writer Prasanna has narrated a storyline to Ram. However, nothing concrete has been decidedas the discussions are still in the early stages,” the source adds.
