Bala to lock horns with Mohan Raja?

It's news that Mohan Raja's Velaikkaran (starring Sivakarthikeyan) has been slated for a September 28 release. Now, it's learned that director Bala is eyeing the same date for his film Naachiyar. 

Bala's crime drama, features Jyothika and GV Prakash in the lead, with Jyothika playing a cop and GVP portraying a role with grey shades. The film, which has music by Ilayaraaja, is currently in its final stretch of shooting. Post-production is expected to start soon.
