NRNM, Jawaan dates shuffled

About four films including the likes of Nithiin's Lie, Rana Daggubati-starrer Nene Raju Nene Mantri (NRNM), Sai Dharam Tej's actioner Jawaan and Bellamkonda Srinivas's Jaya Janaki Nayaka (JJN) were lined-up for release on August 11. But now, the filmmakers of Nene Raju...and Jawaan have made a smart move and shifted their release dates.

Nene Raju...directed by Teja has advanced its release to August 4. As for Jawaan, the team has now settled for a September 1 release. "Every time two or three big-budget films lock horns at the box office, it sends a shiver to the distributors and exhibitors as they fear of division of business. Realising that the stakes are running high on their films, the filmmakers of Rana and Tej's films have now cleared way for Lie and JJN. Now, only those two films will battle it out for box office supremacy during the Independence day weekend," explains a source.
