Vivegam intro song expected to surpass Vedalam's record

While Ajith fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Vivegam, CE has some interesting information about the film -- Anirudh actually composed around 50 tunes, and made Ajith listen to them all before zeroing in on the final intro or theme song. Sources close to the film unit say that the star was impressed by most of the tunes, and, in fact, had a difficult time selecting one. They also tell us that the song Ajith eventually selected is expected to become a bigger hit than Vedalam's Aaluma Doluma.

Touted to be along the lines of a James Bond film, this spy-thriller, which is expected to hit the screens by the second week of August, is directed by Siruthai Siva, who has previously worked with Ajith in Veeram and Vedalam. While Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan play the female leads, Vivek Oberoi plays the antagonist in the film.
