Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next film Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, based on the life of freedom fighter of the same name will be launched on August 15, a week before the actor’s 63rd birthday.

The regular shooting will commence from September onwards and the team is planning a summer release. The film, to be directed by Surender Reddy, will see the Khaidi No. 150 actor in the titular role. Veteran writers Paruchuri Brothers have completed the final draft of the film to be mounted on a budget of Rs. 150 crore.

The historical drama features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Nayanthara, Anushka Shetty as the female leads and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan in a cameo. The unit is planning to build a huge set replicating the pre-Independence era for the film in Hyderabad. The village set comprises a market and public centres among others.

Produced by Ram Charan under the umbrella of Konidela Productions, the film will be made simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi and will also be dubbed in Malayalam. “The team has big plans to release the film in all prominent Southern languages and Hindi. Apparently, not to miss the nativity factor, the filmmakers are roping in actors and technicians from across the industries,” informs a source.

AR Rahman is in talks to compose the music for the film.
