Rakesh Roshan completes 50 years in Indian cinema

After completing 50 years in the Indian entertainment industry, veteran actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan says the biggest learning that he got with time is to "always remain a student"

Reacting to all the congratulatory messages on hitting the milestone, Rakesh Roshan on Sunday tweeted:

Rakesh Roshan embarked on his cinematic journey in 1967 and made his Bollywood acting debut in 1970 with Ghar Ghar ki Kahani. He went on to entertain the audience as an actor with films like Khatta Meetha, Khel Khel Mein and Khoobsurat.

He ventured into filmmaking with Khudgarz in 1987.

His son and actor Hrithik Roshan was happy about it. He posted:

The father and son have together given hits like Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, Koi... Mil Gaya and Krrish 3.

Hrithik further said that his father doesn't need anyone's support to take his legacy forward.

"My father has a spirit (that) is undying. He doesn't need anyone to take his legacy forward... He will live for forever and he is going to be working forever. He is somebody who has built everything on his own, and he will continue doing that," he said.
