Trisha upset over image leak

A picture from the sets of the Trisha-Vijay Sethupathi starrer 96 has been doing the rounds on Twitter, and the actress has requested her fans not to share any on-set pictures on social media. She also added that she was always open to clicking pictures with fans on sets, but feels the director’s vision gets revealed before he intends to if such images become public. 

The film’s first look poster was recently revealed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, and it was designed like a painting with Vijay Sethupathi sitting by a pond in solitude. This is the first time Trisha has been paired with the actor. Said to be a romantic film, it has been named 96 due to the significance of the year 1996 to the story. While Vijay, who sports multiple looks in the film, plays a wildlife photographer, we hear Trisha plays a teacher.
