VIP-3 on cards: Dhanush
The actor announced that the franchise would continue with two more parts
At the thanksgiving meet of the recently-released VIP-2, Dhanush announced that the franchise will continue with two more parts already planned. The actor says it took three years for him to write the sequel to VIP, and added the process was challenging. He says the idea actually struck him while he was shooting for Kodi. Candidly, Dhanush adds, "We were always prepared for comparisons and knew that Part-2 wouldn't meet the levels of the cult classic that was Part-1."
Apart from VIP 2, Dhanush has Rajinikanth’s Tamil gangster drama Kaala in his kitty, which he's producing under Wunderbar Films. We hear VIP-3 will not begin soon. According to sources, if everything goes as per plans, the team is likely to start shooting end of next year and release it in 2019.
