No change in JJN release date

The doubts clouding over the release of actor Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas-starrer Jaya Janaki Nayaka (JJN) are cleared as the makers have confirmed that the action entertainer will now hit the screens as scheduled on August 11.

“Considering the expectations and the stakes involved, producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy and director Boyapati Srinu had talks with the film’s distributors to advance the release by a day. After a lot of dilly-dallying, they have decided to pit the film against two other releases — Rana’s political thriller Nene Raju Nene Mantri and Nithiin’s Lie, as announced earlier. With three films releasing this weekend, there will be enough activity at the ticket window,” reveals a source in the know.

Also featuring Catherine Tresa, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad. Jagapathi Babu, Sarath Kumar and Nandu play pivotal roles and word has it that Rakul Preet will be seen as a young widow in the film.
