Despite taking three years to make, Vinay confident about Seizer

With his film Seizer all set for release this week, debutant Vinay Krishna is having mixed feelings. While on the one hand, he is excited to see his first film hit the theatres, on the other, he is puzzled because in spite of having a cast with big names, the film is not getting the right kind of promotion. With Chiranjeevi Sarja in the lead, the film also features Ravi Chandran and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles, along with Parul Yadav as the female lead.

Only Chiranjeevi has been talking about the film and doing the rounds with the director. “I don’t know whether to call it unfortunate, but I heard both Ravi Chandran and Prakash Raj are busy with other work, and it will be wrong on my part to disturb them. As for Parul Yadav, she has reportedly told the media that she has payment issues and will not be promoting the film,” says the director. However, Vinay is not too perturbed by this, and seems confident about his film.

Seizer was three years in the making. Vinay says that much time was required. “I have tapped into the personal experience of me running a car business in the film, and the story alone took me a year to complete. I also took an equal amount of time for post-production work. However, I have a good product now. My efforts have borne fruit with producer Trivikram Sapalaya now planning to release Seizer in four south Indian languages,” he says.

Seizer has music by Chandan Shetty and cinematography by Anji and Rajesh Kata.
