The film's launch is set to take place on August 15, which happens to be Raghavendra Rajkumar’s birthday. On the same day, the makers plan to reveal more details about the film, including the cast and crew.

Nikhil, a National Award-winning director for his film, Reservation, confirmed to Cinema Express that he is helming the film with Raghavendra Rajkumar. “It is a family drama, which looks at work, life and family balance. Raghavendra Rajkumar will play the role of a man who has to finely balance his work pressure and keep his family happy,” says the director, adding, “This is going to be a multi-starrer and we’ve got a verbal agreement from the artistes. An official announcement will be made once we bring them all on board.”

Nikhil Manju is currently directing IAS Kanasu, a story on senior IAS officer Shalini Rajneesh. This film features Sonu Gowda in the lead and has music by Sameer Kulkarni. The film is currently in the post-production stage.
