Siddharth elated about his Malayalam debut Kammara Sambhavam

The audio launch function of the Dileep-Siddharth starrer Kammara Sambhavam took place today at Ernakulam. The film marks the Malayalam debut of Siddharth.

Dileep told the audience that he plays five roles in the film, "of which three have been given the most priority. For me, this film is like a rebirth. At one point, the production had to be put on halt due to the recent 'tsunami' in my life. The beard I grew for this film, I grew it during those 'three months' -- and I have to thank the media for that."

Siddharth professed his love for Malayalam cinema. "I've been watching Malayalam films right from when I was a kid. I'm an ardent admirer of Padmarajan and Bharathan. It took me 17 years to make my Malayalam debut and I'm so happy that I got to do that with a Dileep film."

In addition to the film's principal cast members -- Dileep, Siddharth, Namitha Pramod, and Shwetha Menon -- the event also saw the attendance of many other big names from the Malayalam industry. Also present were the film's director Rathish Ambatt, who makes his debut with the project, actor-writer Murali Gopi, who appears in a supporting role, and music director Gopi Sundar.

Kammara Sambhavam also features Bobby Simha in a supporting role. However, the actor was not present at the event.
