We have each other's back: Kishore-Sudhir

Bollywood has seen the partnership of two brothers Abbas-Mustan, who have been making stylistic films for decades now, and Hollywood has the Coen brothers, who have won critical acclaim time and again. A similar team is on the rise in Kannada industry -- the two brothers - Nanda Kishore and Tarun Sudhir.

Sons of actor Sudhir, the two come from a theatre background and have taken forward the drama company their mother started, the Karnataka Kalavaibhava Sangha, which has been around for the last 23 years.

In cinema, Tarun has been associated with Kishore from when the latter marked his directorial debut with Victory released in 2013, and followed it up with Adayksha, Ranna, Mukunda Murari and now Tiger. The last, starring Pradeep, has Tarun writing the script and screenplay and directed by Kishore.

The director says, "Our intention is to bring out a good film and that starts with the script. When like-minded people come together, the movie tends to have lesser flaws because we trash out our strengths and weakness."

Kishore says that Tarun’s involvement in the movie has helped him have clarity of thought. "Both of us are each others' critics," says Kishore. "We fight, argue and complain about each other’s work, and there is even a healthy competition between us. But when it comes to making a film, we aim to come out with flying colours. Any success will help us think bigger and helps us go to the next level. We have each other's back, always," he says.
